Aaron Nejad has lived among beautiful antique rugs and carpets all his life, and started to deal in 1990. He has travelled extensively in the East to hunt for rare antique textiles, and has also been involved in establishing new weaving projects in China.

Aaron Nejad is dedicated to understanding the relationship between colour, space and design in woven art, and to discovering rare and unusual examples that delight the eye. He has lectured and written about carpets and about new oriental carpet weaving activities in China. He is also an occasional contributor to "Hali" magazine, an international journal of antique carpet and textile art.
